SOME METRO STORIES FROM 2008 Our Annual Picnic on August 16 was a great success! See all the great pictures! CLICK HERE!Field Day 2008 was another club success! While we had fewer members participating this year, we were able to make 1,441 QSOs for a score of 4,520. We finished 4th in Illinois in Class 1A. N2WB was part of the J5C DXpedition (click HERE for info) and the TX5C DXpedition. (click HERE for info). Also, Bill's photo is on page 98 of the October CQ from a Wake Island adventure in 1998. |
