Our 2009 Field Day exercise was in a beautiful new location in Chebanse (just south of Kankakee), near N9LAH's QTH. Unfortunately, we had fewer members participating, but we had more visitors! We had great weather and made lots of QSOs in Class 1A.

                                                     Contacts: CW: 780 SSB: 297 Total QSO's 1,077

Total QSO points: 3,714 Bonus Points: 550

                                                                         TOTAL SCORE: 4,264

(We missed out on the publicity bonus due to the last minute change of our location from Oak Forest Hospital. However, we were listed on the ARRL Field Day Locator Map)

N9ORD and W9ILY at the visitor's welcome area.                                                     The beautiful grounds

                                                                                                                                      lightning struck during the night.
