Our club held its First Annual Picnic at the QTH of AI9L and AF9H in Braceville, about 40 miles southwest of Oak Lawn. All the attendees really enjoyed seeing the huge antenna farm that Jess and Patti have assembled as well as the great food! Dr. Mike McGirr, K9AJ, provided a wonderful program about his recent trip to the very rare Scarborough Reef, BS7H. K9MDO, AI9L and W9ILY checking the antennas. HUGE antennas! Lots of them!!
