METRO DX CLUB AUGUST 2019 MEETING REPORT
On Friday, August 9th, we met for our annual joint meeting with the Northern Illinois DX Association at the Moran Athletic Club in Joliet. There was no formal Metro meeting. Paul K9NU coordinated the meeting and organized the pre meeting dinner. He also updated the group on the upcoming W9DXCC event on Sept 13 and 14th and urged those who haven’t signed up to do so. The early registration discount ends after August 12th. There were over 50 in attendance. It was a good chance to meet NIDXA members. This year Mike W9MK organized a meeting swap meet and members from Metro and NIDXA brought in lots of goodies to pick from. It was a fun night.
